I thought just a couple of months ago they wanted to scan everyone's phones for illegal content.
- kaba0 4y agoSo that they are legally saved from “storing child porn on their servers”. They explicitly wanted that feature so that they can freely upload user content, fully encrypted, without worrying about that - it was just grossly miscommunicated.
