- cf100clunk 4y agoThe article seems to treat design department mockups and prototypes as being indicative of marketable devices of their time. Anyone familiar with the extravagant automobile shows of the late twentieth century knows that design mockups, prototypes, and ''show cars'' are thought experiments that may or may not yield marketable products or ideas. Having said that, I offer no insight into what possessed Nokia to market their original N-Gage handset.
