This list largely how I feel about looking stuff up on wikipedia. Not if you actually need a fact, but if you're trying to have a conversation about what somebody's heard, or what their thoughts are, and someone in the group just googles it and reads it out, it basically destroys the conversation. And obviously if I just wanted to know what it said on the internet, I would have googled it. Knowledge is not the same as access to fact, but people seem to pretend it is
