Germany arrests 25 accused of plotting coup
- 082349872349872 4y agoDE Reichsbürger are continental analogues of US SovCits; from the relative timing I'm guessing the former (even if unaware of it) are derivative of the latter. Anyone know the etymology of this memetic complex? (farthest back I have been able to trace has been the US during the late Warren Court period)
- Arnt 4y agoUhm. Reichsbürger aren't noticeably cosmopolitan. Understanding foreign languages isn't their thing. Pedantry is, though.

There's likely some there there; when I read Pound's apology for (italian OG) Fascism, he sounded in parts amazingly like a modern goldbug.
