Regarding your art, as someone who graduated from art school, the most important thing above all else is concept, not technicals. If you're just painting, sculpting, drawing, etc just to do it and enjoy it, then you have nothing to worry about since the enjoyment of the process is fulfilling in itself. If you're creating projects for the sake of expressing/communicating something for yourself or an audience, then the focus needs to be on developing the concept and refining it, before deciding how to execute it or what the medium(s) will be. If there isn't a strong concept then the work is dead in the water, AI or not.
