- patrickthebold 4y agonevertheless, one can lament the situation: With all the mass production and economies of scale, any desire off the beaten path becomes either extremely expensive or unobtainable. Hey, it's more profitable to sell junk that doesn't last very long, to have a closed platform, to make a smart tv that tracks you.
