I drive a 2002 bright yellow Mini (official color name Eggyolk Yellow), which is showing its age a little from the dings in front but still shines up nicely and makes it easy to see in the parking lot. The other day our family and some friends of us were driving in the family SUV somewhere downtown and saw another, newer Mini, with a totally custom paintjob, it was a pearly, shiny, electric pinkish-purple, kind of like a fancy candy wrapper. I think they cranked their flake content up to 11. The entire car OOOHHed and AAHed and asked to slow down to gaze it at. Great color, great statement, wish more were like that.
