- GekkePrutser 4y agoFairphone is only one example. There are many repairable designs that are waterproof. For example Samsung's XCover series can be opened, have removable batteries and are waterproof. It's a matter of priorities, waterproofing just wasn't one for Fairphone. I know XCover isn't meant to be repairable as such but it's obviously a lot more repairable than a glued up phone.
