Indonesia bans sex outside marriage in new criminal code
- jleyank 4y agoI could not tell from two uk websites whether this applied to foreigners who weren’t interacting with Indonesian citizens or permanent residents. If the broadest interpretation is intended, that will restrict places that don’t have good marriage rates (such as Quebec). There’s still religious vs. Secular issues that might keep the Quebecers out but you get my drift. Guess Indonesia won’t be a good place for reconciling divorcees, eh? Is divorce recognized in (strict) Islam?
