Hopefully! Keep in mind that other alternatives are possible, including “St. Louis and Detroit in the 80s-2000s” style downward spiral into blight. I have no interest in bailing out billion dollar property holding companies, but we need to do everything possible to encourage positive development. It does seem like many cities get it, the high line in particular seems to have spawned a dozen imitators which is awesome.
