Switzerland could ban electric vehicle use during energy crisis
- powerbroker 4y agoIts time the EV people made a friend with the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) people. Go on joint shopping trips, and carpool to work. I'm sure that if there was a strict oil embargo, the favor would be returned.

It’s one of dozens of possible measures, it’s a limit only on non-essential trips, and it’s included only in the worst of several levels, which is unlikely to ever be activated. - mikeyouse 4y agoI'm sure I'll see this in meme form all over my extended family's Facebook feed in about 6 months. Some of the other Escalation Level 3 measures include limiting streaming to standard definition resolution, limiting washing machines to 40º, banning the operation of leaf blowers and patio heaters, and turning off heaters in chair lifts.
