Musk condemns Trump, says 'constitution is greater than any president'
- jfengel 4y agoWhy should it be? If Trump is right and the election was fraudulent, then the social contract that underlies the Constitution is void. You can't implement the Constitution without it. Trump isn't right -- but the fact that tens of millions of Americans believe he is also undermines the social contract. So either way, it seems like the Constitution is on pretty shaky ground. The Constitution is not greater than the belief of people in the Constitution. And if a President -- and the vast majority of his supporters -- have lost that belief, then the entire question seems moot.
