I actually did have an old 256GB Samsung die on me a few months ago. I’d say it was from 2014ish and had double it’s write endurance.

- philjohn 4y agoSimilar here - 256GB 830 Pro, lasted damn close to a decade and was in my desktop, then my sons and finally my daughters before it died. Very high writes as well - it was a great SSD.
