Can we discuss teaching post ChatGPT+?
I'm considering giving my local high school system a call to raise awareness. When I was in college 10 years ago I abused Wolfram Alpha for some math work, but this is a whole different level and may require a new model of instruction.
Why give free response homework when an AI can just generate 80% of it?
This will radically alter homework as we know it :)
- y-curious 4y agoYes I think this is already a problem with student essays [and using GPT3 on them]. I would love to see teachers teaching how to actually use the tools instead of ways to avoid them. For example, it's really hard to get exactly what you want from stable diffusion. Having an assignment based on tweaking the algorithm seems a lot better than avoiding it altogether.
