- oxplot 4y agoThose whose opinion actually matter have done the math and put orders in to save them cost in the long run. Of course, if right now, the load capacity or the range isn't applicable to one's business requirements, then Tesla Semi doesn't make sense. However, cost is often the biggest driver in any business. If a business can change things around to fit within the current constraints of the Semi, then they can do a cost-benefit analysis and Tesla Semi may then make economical sense.
- oseityphelysiol 4y agoI expect the current orders to be PR motivated.
- SpelingBeeChamp 4y agoPepsi’s order was placed in 2017.
- oxplot 4y agoNot sure what you're implying with this. Specs have remained exactly the same and now, they've actually delivered on the spec they advertised in 2017.
- pclmulqdq 4y agoLet's wait and see if that's actually true. Tesla specs are a lot more "optimistic" than specs for other EV manufacturers (see the promised vs actual ranges of their passenger cars, for example).
- greedo 4y agoDelivered? They drove a demo version up on stage at a PR event. Come back when Pepsico has their fleets...
- oxplot 4y agoI'm gonna be broke after all the egg I have to buy to throw at your faces.
- panick21_ 4y agoI don't think they will buy one of these.
- propter_hoc 4y agoWho is "Munro and co"? The top result on Google is this baby clothing brand: https://www.munroandco.co.uk/ https://www.munroandco.co.uk/ Cute outfits, but they don't look like EV trucking experts.
