I don’t necessarily disagree with your point, but there are lots of people using AI for big problems. Medical diagnosis is basically undergoing a complete transformation right now. The reason creative pursuits get tackled first is because they’re plentiful and pretty universal. The same person can develop an AI and admire a painting. This is not true of diagnosing disease.
