I don’t know how true this is - I just put in the private Reddit user name of a published author with a very large, but private corpus. The Reddit account is very active. The output is nothing like the authors works. Not even their Reddit account. Sounds nothing like them.

Presumably it's trained on public data that can be scraped from Reddit, so it's possible this is true and that it can't imitate private users.

  Not a private user. Data is publicly available. Just anonymous and not associated with their published work.
