"George Soros", the physically existing human being, who publicly funds numerous foundations and electoral campaigns, is beyond the "antisemitic point of no return"?
- tptacek 4y agoSoros could appear on multiple levels of this chart. It's not an especially good chart! It's hamstrung in part by the conceit that a topic like "George Soros" could be disposed by placing it on a single point on the spectrum. There are obviously a multitude of plainly anti-semitic conspiracy theories about Soros, and then there's the garden variety enmity figures like him attract from his political opponents.
- eyelidlessness 4y agoThe conspiracy theories around Soros have nothing to do with the physically existing human and his public philanthropic efforts, but rely on insinuations of some highly orchestrated nefarious plot… so, yeah, sounds about right.
- slavboj 4y agoSo the "conspiracy theory" is that he makes long term plans to do things that some people don't like?

- eyelidlessness 4y agoThe conspiracy theory is that anything funded by Soros is a carefully orchestrated plot with hidden but nefarious ends. If you listen to the people who buy into the theory they’ll elucidate more about their inferences about the intent.
