Ask HN: What's on your Christmas wish list?
I am struggling with coming up with wishes for this year, so I thought: Surely there's a thread full of great ideas on hackernews.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find one.
I'm sure there's a gold mine of knowledge regarding interesting gadgets, games, books etc. in this great community, so lets help each other:
What are your wishes - that good hackers would find interesting - for this year?
(Feel free to mention things that you already have, but would be great as gifts)
- jeppester 4y agoHere are a few things that I've wished for recently: - Turing tumble (https://upperstory.com/turingtumble/ https://upperstory.com/turingtumble/) - Electric Bike Pump - Steam Deck (https://www.steamdeck.com https://www.steamdeck.com) - Flipper Zero (https://flipperzero.one/ https://flipperzero.one/)
- dpeck 4y agoI’ll add to the Turing Tumble, it’s amazing, the creator of it has just started shipping their next thing: Spintronics, and I’m very much looking forward to going through it with my kiddo.
- tamaharbor 4y agoTuring Tumble appears to be similar to the 'Dr Nim' toy I had as a child in the 1960s.
- tamaharbor 4y agoThe SDR (Software Defined Radio) someone posted about earlier looks pretty interesting.
