Out of curiosity: Are your current users AI generated?
Anyway, I think there is, or at least should be, a lot of space for independent/niche socials. They may be less or even no lucrative at all, but its users will gain so much in terms of privacy, signal-to-noise ratio and, in the end, much better quality content and overall experience.
- rc_kas 4y agoNo AI. There are just a few friends who are being nice to me and posting so that I have some content to test with and develop against. Also a couple users from random internet spots. I'll keep developing it even if no users, it's been a very fun project. I have so many ideas for little features to tinker with.
