This comment make it seem like iPhone is suddenly desirable in 2022. iPhone has been leader since the beginning, it does take effort to stay at top but i wonder credit goes to Tim Cook for that.
- kube-system 4y agoWell, maybe from around 2010-2012 or so. In the first couple years, the iPhone was a product looking for a market that didn’t yet exist.
- dopeboy 4y agoIt takes a massive amount of effort to stay at the top. Yes there’s inertia and lock-in and walled gardens that contribute to folks staying in the apple ecosystem. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
