- gregjor 4y agoWeird that the author calls Babur an "Asian" restaurant rather than an Indian restaurant. The Babur website describes the cuisine as Indian, apparently dishes from multiple regions in India. "Asian" food doesn't describe anything. Imagine reviewing a Peruvian restaurant and calling it "Hispanic" or "South American."
- beardyw 4y agoWell, it was "Best Asian Restaurant - London Region". Surely that's a bigger deal than "Best Indian" isn't it?
- gregjor 4y agoA bigger deal but it doesn't make sense to me to lump Indian food together with other "Asian" cuisines -- Thai, Chinese (and multiple flavors of that), Japanese, etc. Kind of useless, like awarding a prize for "best fish" or "best meat."
