More and more I realise that the aspirational upper middle class goals in my / all cultures are based around having time - usually time bought at the proce of other people doing the donkey work for you.

- lifeisstillgood 4y agoNah the donkey work, cooking, cleaning, raising children, farming etc is the donkey work - and the other stuff - reading writing, scientific investigation (useful) or religious ceremonies, cultural gatekeeping, oppression (useless) or war making (grey area)
