Why is C code so beautiful?
- Tomis02 4y agoNo objects, no bullshit (for the most part), just write what you want the code to do.
- mmastrac 4y agoAs someone who used to feel that the most beautiful and elegant code was written in C, I feel the same way about (base) Rust. Assuming you 1) avoid async and 2) avoid excessive use of traits and generics, it has a real, pure C feel to it. There's something fundamental about C though - and in some ways it feels as pure and fundamental as LISP.
