Absolutely agree with this. I’ve used a dark neutral color for my background, lock screen, etc for a decade. I think it offended my girlfriend when she wasn’t on my lock screen, but she got over it and now we’re married and have a kid. More seriously, it’s just a lot easier to find what I’m looking for on top of a neutral background. It’s not a moral imperative but I will probably stick with it for another decade.
