More important things? You mean getting more publicity and attention for their efforts as well as praise for what they discovered?
Separate point do people really 'worry' about hosting a website where all it has to do is display static information?
- dnadler 4y agoI'll just address your last point, which I think is actually fairly important to think about. It's easy to assume that other people have the same knowledge/skillset as you do, or to think that things that are trivial for you are similarly easy for others. This is simply not the case, and it's important to try to put yourself in others shoes. (As an aside - this is what I think leads to the best products.) I've met many programmers who are absolutely brilliant in their field who do not know, nor care to learn, how to stand up even the most simple website. Is twitter the best place for long form articles? Probably not. But as the original commenter pointed out, there are many benefits to it as well.
