For me it's the contrary. When I didn't have a DSLR I was taking a lot of pictures on my phone. Since I got one a few years ago, I almost never take phone pictures anymore (even if I don't have the DSLR with me), because I know the quality will be subpar. Why even bother taking a picture that will look awful when looked at on anything bigger than a smartphone screen?
