I think the sweet spot is a $600 lenovo (or other brand). They have a reasonably good screen, 16GB of RAM, a good gfx card (gtx3050), if you need one. I find it

I think the sweet spot is a $600 lenovo (or other brand). They have a reasonably good screen, 16GB of RAM, a good gfx card (gtx3050), if you need one. I find it really difficult to fork out an additional $1500 for something marginally better (and in certain ways more limiting).
