Pay Phones Are Coming Back in Philadelphia Thanks to Linux, No Quarters Required
- toomuchtodo 4y agoI love this project and idea, where you’ve got something that isn’t a business but doesn’t need to be because the costs are so low (outside of labor of love). Kudos to these folks, you love to see it.
- devilbunny 4y agoGetting rid of pay phones made sense. Getting rid of phone booths, especially in airports and hotel lobbies/meeting rooms, did not. I was delighted to see that the new Delta lounge at LAX includes closed, soundproofed cubicles with a stool and small desk area. People can now just go in there and do their meetings without bothering everyone else in the place.
