The Callisto Protocol review: A relentless horror spectacle
- anigbrowl 4y agoThis looks like an interesting game, but why are so many games in the survival horror genre variations on the same diseased cadaver grotesquerie? I play fewer videogames than I used to partly because it feels like the same games from 20 years ago with improved graphics, and I just get bored with gore. There seems to be a real lack of imagination or excess conservatism in game concepts, compared to all the possibilities described or seen in horror fiction and other media. There's more to life - er, death - than rabid lepers.
