So the Ethereum network is entitled to their cut, but not Apple?
- aliqot 4y agoWhat exactly is the Ethereum network's cut?
- tylersmith 4y agoThis issue is about fees paid to the Eth network. The exact amount depends on the gas market and what users are doing specifically.
- Veen 4y agoThe gas fee is Ethereum’s cut. It’s paid to validators.
- p0pcult 4y agoSo, is it "Ethereum's" or the validator's cute? Who is this monolithic "Ethereum"?
- Veen 4y agoIt depends what you mean by "Ethereum". The usual meaning is the network that runs the blockchain. Validators are part of the network. I mean, it's a decentralized network—that's the point—there is no monolithic "who".
- p0pcult 4y agoRight, which is why it is weird when you say it is "Ethereum's" cut.
