Apple blocks Coinbase wallet from sending NFTs unless users pay 30% of gas fees
- mikkergp 4y agoGiven the current dip in crypto legitimacy, I'm not sure that "Apple won't let you trade in internet memes because they don't accept the funny money you use to trade them" is the attack they think it is.
- josephcsible 4y agoThat might be a valid argument for disallowing NFTs completely, but not for allowing them as long as you give Apple a cut of the proceeds.
- mikkergp 4y agoFrom the tweet thread: "Apple’s proprietary In-App Purchase system does not support crypto", so they seem at least have considered the idea of giving them a cut of the proceeds if it was supported.
