Highlighting Hungary here would make more sense if somehow Hungary was one of the few exceptions. Which country hasn't misused the pandemic?
- Archipelagia 4y agoHungary is particularly bad – they had a pretty strong turn towards authoritarianism and putinism over the last few years. Like, yeah, everyone did pretty poorly during Covid, but using the pandemic to strengthen Fidesz hold on their country is another level.
