I’ve watched NYC degrade slowly then rapidly. the more expensive it gets the worse living conditions become. Of course, you can’t actually bring this up to the administration because complaining about living conditions, crime, or the kleptocratic bureaucracy is considered racist so it’s easier to just move away.
