Redirected aggression in baboons has been proven to reduce stress hormones. I also redirected my aggression to weaker kids in school, and I also got redirected aggression from stronger kids. We need to accept that in many cases we are not better than baboons, and try to find ways to accommodate our primal behaviours, not ignore them or pretend that we are so superior as a species.
