Does anyone else hate this sort of tech? The "we make video from your text" sort, not the AI Avatar part, that seems... interesting enough, but its in furtherance of a terrible tech company (at least in my own opinion) product vision. I would have written this up as a blog article, but no one reads anymore, so I used $X to make a video and put it on youtube... FFS just... WRITE. SHIT. DOWN. I want a searchable, readable, efficiently transformable pile of information. And before anyone says video is searchable, look under the hood, video search tools involve transformation into alternative representations (usually TEXT based ones) in order to facilitate using more compact search vectors... Video is none of these things. Reliance on video as the only communication medium is slowly eroding the quality of the web.
