One thing I’m noticing with SBF’s mannerisms here. He only looks at the camera when he’s able to present what he’s prepared for this interview. When he’s hit with a question that’s too narrow and direct (and therefore he can’t segue it into one of his aww-shucks narratives), his eyes go to his shoes.
I know that eye-direction isn’t some magical lie detector. I’m not claiming to be seeing that. Rather he can’t fake the confidence simultaneously with generating fresh bullshit. Pre-processed bullshit is much easier to deliver, so he can also spare some brainpower for the confident delivery.
