To be clear, this is human controlled robot, not AI. Terminators are at least 25 years away. Short of advanced alloys, I don't see them as fool-proof for any opfor armed with high caliber weapons. For example, a 7.62 x 39 round puts 2000+ Joules on target. That's more than enough to penetrate aluminum frame and plating, as well as slicing through most light-weight armor.
