Milk has a significant amount of sugar, and if you are drinking the whole fat version, has nearly as many calories as an equivalent amount of soda.
- FartyMcFarter 4y agoI guess milk tea is mostly water with just a bit of milk.
- solarmist 4y agoA glass of whole-fat milk has about the same calories as soda, not sure how you get milk tea at the same level. I don't think most milk teas have more than tablespoon or two of milk.
- sasaf5 4y ago"Tenthly, one should pour tea into the cup first. This is one of the most controversial points of all; indeed in every family in Britain there are probably two schools of thought on the subject. The milk-first school can bring forward some fairly strong arguments, but I maintain that my own argument is unanswerable. This is that, by putting the tea in first and stirring as one pours, one can exactly regulate the amount of milk whereas one is liable to put in too much milk if one does it the other way round." https://www.orwellfoundation.com/the-orwell-foundation/orwell/essays-and-other-works/a-nice-cup-of-tea/ https://www.orwellfoundation.com/the-orwell-foundation/orwel...
