Far left, to me, would be things like nationalizing whole industries or seizing the assets of the “rich oppressors”. It seems “far left” to (too) much of the US means parental leave or single payer healthcare.
- papito 4y agoIndeed. The US has gone so far down the path of broken Capitalism that ideas that are pretty middle-of-the-road are enough to brand you a firy communist. Richard Nixon was piloting Universal Basic Income and founded the EPA. Let THAT sink in.
- cactusplant7374 4y agoOr just condemning antivax propaganda. I don’t believe people have the right to spread this on public platforms. But Musk’s conception of this platform is a “town square,” or more broadly, “anything goes.”
