This came up at the top of a search for "sue law standing": > To file a lawsuit in court, you have to be someone directly affected by the legal dispute you are suing about. In legal terms, this is called having “standing” to file the lawsuit. I think that'd be difficult to prove / show unless you had some pretty direct evidence. I don't think you'd have that unless you setup logging / monitoring software in advance, as in the article. Regular consumers wouldn't have that.
