- hunglee2 4y agothe devil is in the detail - legislators always think the solution is simple, until they consider edge cases, or implementation challenges or enforcement challenges. Any govt that passes laws on ill defined and contested terms like 'harmful content' will find itself spend tax payers money in litigation as big tech platforms argues every case. Free speech not only has a moral case, but a practical one also
- Mindwipe 4y agoWhile this part has been changed, it is worth noting that this bill still aims to cause extraordinary damage by mandating age verification on half the sites on the internet.
