Tell HN: You Need to Hackintosh a 2016 MacBook Pro(Touchbar) to Run Latest macOS
- senttoschool 4y ago6 years of support is pretty good. It's on the short side for Macs but they're transitioning to Apple Silicon and want to cut out Intel Macbooks sooner than later. I can understand. Also, the 2016, 2017, 2018 Macbook Pros were some of the worst computers ever made. Period.
- pfortuny 4y agoYeah, that is true. However, I spent 2500€ on it expecting more from Apple. The previous one lasted 10 years and I changed it only for the RAM.
- senttoschool 4y agoYou can still use the laptop perfectly fine without Ventura. It's not a mandatory update.
