I love the article, and the experiment. He is clearly way ahead at 17 than I am at > 40, which amazes me. I have had a lot of bad experience with friends, so that has hampered me since and put me off and made me weary of having friends. I also don't do friend things well - I don't find the energy to reply to messages and emails. I do like "going out for a drink / coffee" type things, as well as doing something together, like going to he gym. I might try this out though, as it sounds good.
