I was surprised when the only way to purchase the new Twitter Blue was through Apple. I tried to pay on the Twitter website so that Apple wouldn’t take 1/3 (I’m one of the few who is excited about what Musk is doing) but the only way to pay was with an Apple sub. Which is odd because I was a Twitter Blie subscriber before and paid through the website, so I know the infrastructure was there. As I recall, they used Stripe.
