Yeah...when the paychecks don't show up, that's...superbad. I doubt that there's anyone still at Twitter who might be on the fence, but when the paychecks don't show up, that's god telling you to get another job, ASAP.
- Hamuko 4y agoEh. I've had a paycheck miss by half a day or day twice now (I think first was a fuck up with entering payrolls, second was a whole bank outage), and it's usually relatively benign.
- LorenPechtel 4y agoYeah, when things are otherwise ok a paycheck miss is likely just a snafu. When there's financial trouble a paycheck miss is a huge red flag.
- daveslash 4y agoYeah. Context is everything here. It's like if you're on a cruise ship and you step in a puddle of water, but everything else is fine - shrug somebody probably just spilled their drink. But if you step in a pool of water and the ship had just recently struck something huge (reef, rock, iceberg, another ship...) .... your ship is sinking buddy.
