Be warned that a lot of the power issues are basically Chinese whispers from processors that are getting on for a decade old now.
There are still measurable effects but not like on skylake, to my knowledge at least.
- alkonaut 4y agoIn the latest iteration, they removed AVX-512 iirc. So was there even as window when it worked well and shipped on a majority of new CPUs?
- adgjlsfhk1 4y agoNo, but that's mainly because Intel has been totally incompetent for the last half decade. On Zen4/Intel chips post 2020 that have it, AVX-512 is really good.
- jmoss20 4y agoNo, 512 still fries skylake.
