As it isn't noted prominently in this announcement, it is worth clarifying that the directive does not apply to small and medium-sized enterprises, and applies only to listed companies.
- jacooper 4y agoAre the companies listed somewhere?, I couldn't find anything on the EU's website.
- cge 4y agoListed in this context means publicly traded and listed on a stock exchange.
- nickpp 4y agoThus creating yet another disincentive for companies to list themselves on the market, leaving EU markets further behind their US counterparts.
