- philliphaydon 4y agoCambodia also tried to devalue the US dollar in favor of its own currency. The last time I visited Cambodia, 1000 local currency was $1, but if you used a $2 note it was worth 25 cents. So toktok drivers would try pay you in $2 so they can offload them, but would refuse to take them as they had no value to them.
