Ask HN: How's the Transition to Mastodon Going?
Hi, I am looking for an alternative to Twitter but after a brief review of Mastodon I could not find anything exciting about it.
I guess the ability of creating your own fork of the project is interesting, but not from a user perspective.
What do you think? Is it any good? Have you have any suggestion?
- lordkrandel 4y agoThe ability to create a fork is nothing compared to the fact that you own your information.
- renaissance_tea 4y agoWhat else do you want? It’s decentralized and people can follow you across different instances.
- KenArrari 4y agoHave yet to see anything really appealing about mastodon. Don't think I really liked Twitter either except for the fact that everyone is on it already.
